The first year of the Onboard project has passed and the consortium designed two technical profiles and joint curricula for the apprenticeship’s system of maritime sector! Available at the website of the project, these two results were introduced and discussed in the coordinators meeting promoted by the EACEA – Education, Audiovisual and Culture Executive Agency of the European Commission, on 14th of December 2018 in Brussels.
During the meeting, INOVA+ as coordinator of the project had the opportunity to share the experience of the consortium during this first year of the project and its main results with other organisations, as a good practice recognised by the EACEA.
For the second year of the project, partners are preparing a set of activities and initiatives to reach and establish a close interaction with the main stakeholders of the project, namely policy makers, apprenticeship’s providers, business representatives and clusters of the ports and logistics sector. Among these activities, are included the validation of the technical profiles and curricula to be done at National and European levels and training addressed to apprenticeship’s professionals and to be implemented in Portugal, the United Kingdom and Ireland.
To accomplish these goals and strengthen the network of the Onboard project, partners are inviting organisations, consortiums and professionals of the sector and apprenticeships’ system to contribute to the project as an Associated Partner.
Be part of this good practice and contribute to its success!
